Camareno Revisits a Beloved Role

Joe Camareno was offered and accepted the chance to recreate one of his beloved roles, "El Diablo," in Jonathan Josephson's Las Lloronas. The original production premiered as part of Wicked Lit in 2014.

Actors from previous Wicked Lit productions embody their roles with intense expressions and authentic period costumes, creating a captivating and eerie atmosphere in these theatrical stills.

This production also marks the return of Halloween season favorite Wicked Lit. Las Lloronas will share the stage with The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, also by Josephson.

Returning with Camareno are other Wicked Lit alums, Melissa Lugo and Kevin Dulude, with Lugo reprising her role as Doña Marina in Las Lloronas.

Performances run October 29 through November 2 and will feature a Wicked Lit Museum showcasing past Wicked Lit props, costumes, and other artifacts.

Other Wicked Lit alumni returning include Gabrieal Griego as writer of this year's Frame, co-producer, and Director, and Susy Vera as a co-producer. Jennifer Novak Chun will be joining us as a cellist, and Christine Cover Ferro returns as Wicked Lit Resident Costume Designer.
